Sunrise" is a recent sculpture commission for a contemporary home in the Washington, DC area. The sculpture has a sense of lightness, its undulating columns contrasting with the straight lines of the house, the pool and its marble deck. "Sunrise" is displayed perfectly in the elegant and minimal architecture of the property.
The title of this work reflects the placement of the sculpture as it receives the rays of the rising sun in the morning hours.
