Primo Piano LivinGallery, with most actual tendencies guideline of the contemporary art, introduces four young Latin American's artists with a good international background, in a sort of working in progress on the contemporary art from Venezuela.

In the show the artworks by: Carlos Anzola, Astolfo Funes, Roberto Notarfrancesco, Alberto Riera.

The show, taken care by Dores Sacquegna, it proposes important questions on the concepts of identity, religion, good and pain, existential uneasiness.

Artist and architect,  Carlos Anzola move an a drowsiness trip in the stereotyped identity of the human being, with a way to make art that the coordinates of the existence disclose of the body and of his essence, where the mystery of the life is rejoined with the pain and with the mystery of the death. The particularity of works is the extraordinary composition to fragments, a puzzle that in its totality it returns the unity.

Astolfo Funes, makes to act the clichè of a femininity built on the criterions of the glamour and the fashion with a personal expressive language, facing in directed way the central themes of the contemporary culture as the identity, the multiplicity, the body and the sexuality, mixing the glamour of the fashion to the history of the painting, putting in scene the ritual of the being and the to appear. The women are the fetish of the identity in the moment in which they are exhibited in particular layings or that they show an element of common use, a signed purse, a gadget.

Roberto Notarfrancesco's works stirs in the binomial one between soul and animal, among the spiritual one and the instinctive one of the man, illustrating with a diversified bestiarium and with a nostalgic return to the "never end story", histories of dragon-lions, man-spider, androgynous and alien. A visual exploration that becomes call, obsession, rediscovered of the archetypes, tribal dance between the man and his ego.

With a graphic and pictorial sign that recalls the abstractism of the international historical avant-garde, Alberto Riera proposes a series of works of neo-informal texture, adding writings and words of finished sense. In the melting pop of the vision, Reira represents the fears, the illusions, the utopias, legionary from a disorientated world, where the social meaning and the technological progress borrow the same life.
